Russia and China Will Exchange Electronic Money Orders
OREANDA-NEWS. June 05, 2007. In the near future Russia and China will exchange electronic money orders. The corresponding contract was signed within the framework of the meeting between the representatives of Russian Post and Group of companies Chinese Post on 5th of June in FSUE Russian Post, reported the press-centre of Russian Post.
China is the first far-abroad country that reached agreement concerning electronic money orders exchange with Russia. This agreement enables IT-based money orders exchange between both countries with average delivery time not exceeding 2-3 days. Currently, the enterprise finishes technical preparation after which postal operators of Russian and China will render the mentioned service.
In the course of the meeting the representative of Chinese Post visited post offices in Russia. Among them was post office in Arbat Street made in corporate style where Chinese delegation got acquainted with a wide range of services rendered by Russian Post. They paid particular attention to subscription campaigns and distribution of printing editions performed by Russian colleagues.
During the meeting in Moscow Russian and Chinese colleagues have drawn the results of the first year of border postal exchange and discussed the perspective lines of further development.
