OREANDA-NEWS. June 06, 2007. Reactor module of utilized heavy nuclear submarine cruiser ТК-202 (“Akula” project, serial No. 712) is being prepared for towing to temporary storage station, reported the press-centre of  “Sevmash”.

According to Commissioning manager Alexander Orlov, at the end of June “six-compartment unit” is planned to be delivered in Murmansk region.

Transportation of structure with displacement of more than 8 thousand tons is not an easy task, but by joint efforts of enterprise specialists it shall be solved in July.

Utilization got into final stage – by middle of summer reactor compartments will get new place in Murmansk region.
