OREANDA-NEWS. June 15, 2007. Rosneft CEO Sergey Bogdanchikov told the press that the company plans to spend $1.2 billion on the construction of ships to develop shelf oil fields.
 
As RIA "Novosti" reports, he said that company needs 27 vessels, 3 of which are already being built.
 
S.Bogdanchikov said that in total, 49 oil platforms, 200 vessels and 81 tankers are to be built by 2020, requiring total investments of about $84 bn (2.22 trillion rubles).
