OREANDA-NEWS. On June 04, 2007 ROSNO’s Ural Directorate has for the first time received the Golden Certificate from the Association of Insurers "Bely Sobol", as the best property insurer of the year 2006, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The best insurance companies of the Ural Federal Area were awarded at the interregional conference "Condition and development prospects of the Ural regional insurance market".

Ms. Tatyana Kazakova, head of the Ural Directorate, comments on the award as follows: "ROSNO’s strategy focused on growing the share of property insurance in our portfolio coincided with the growth in this type of insurance in the Ural Federal Area, and this makes us confident that the development path we have chosen is correct".

In 2006, property insurance accounted for 6% of the Ural Directorate’s portfolio, and it is presently viewed as one of the most promising business lines for the years 2007 to 2009. The Ural Directorate is a full member of the association "Bely Sobol", and it takes active part in the insurance business development in Ural. In "Bely Sobol", Ms. T. Kazakova heads the statistics and analysis committee.

"Bely Sobol" is a union of Ural-based insurers, comprising 102 insurance companies operating in the region.
