OREANDA-NEWS. On June 06, 2007 OAO Pharmacy Chain 36.6 [MICEX:RU14APTK1007; RTS:APTK] and European Medical Center (EMC) announced the first general practitioner office in the 36.6 pharmacy, reported the press-centre of OAO Pharmacy Chain 36.6.

Doctor’s office in a pharmacy is the first-time general practitioner medical services offer in Russia. The office provides services of a general practitioner, cardiologist and neurologist. EMC doctors who receive patients in a general practitioner office have international working experience and speak both the Russian and English languages.

The doctor can issue prescriptions for medicines available at the pharmacy. Patients can make an appointment by calling or walking-in. If required, the doctor will redirect the patient for necessary diagnostic examination or additional consultation to the EMC specialist.
