OREANDA-NEWS. May 29, 2007. Alfa Insurance Company's premiums totaled AZN 984,900 in 2006 (+AZN 125,000 or 14% against 2005), reported the press-centre of  Alfa Insurance Company.

This included the following items: accident insurance - AZN 833,000 (84,5% of the total premiums), fire insurance - AZN 82,000, cargo (transport) insurance - AZN 46,700, engineering insurance - AZN 14,000, casualty insurance - AZN 8,200, ecological insurance - AZN 1,000, engineering insurance - AZN 2,900, obligatory civil liability insurance of vehicle owners - AZN 1,100, and obligatory ecological insurance - AZN 1,600.

Alfa Insurance paid AZN 146,000 as indemnity in this period, which exceeded the 2005 index threefold. This included accident insurance premiums of AZN 142,000 and transport (cargo) insurance premiums of AZN 4,000.
