OREANDA-NEWS. Fitch Ratings has today assigned Moscow Insurance Company ("MIC") an International Insurer Financial Strength ("IFS") rating of "BB" and a National IFS rating of "AA-(AA minus)(rus)". The Outlooks for both ratings are Stable.

The ratings reflect MIC's low diversification of insurance business, negative non-life underwriting profitability and high concentration of investment portfolio.

On the other hand, the ratings reflect the company's current strong capital position, commitment and capacity of shareholders to provide further capital support and low dependence on captive business.
