OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC Baltika Breweries became the only Russian participant of the 9th International of Food Fair, Alimentaria LISBOA, which was held on May 27-30 in Lisbon.

Making Baltika brand more recognizable on the markets of Southern Europe and Latin America became the main objective of the company at the exhibition.

At the stand of Baltika Breweries the visitors of the fair could try Baltika No. 7 Exportnoye Beer and Baltika No. 8 Pshenichnoye Beer, as well as all other Baltika brands in bottles.

Alimentaria LISBOA is an international fair of foodstuffs and drinks, which gathers importers and brewers of the branch in Europe and Latin America, held every 2 years. In 2007 the exhibition was attended by some 40,000 experts and over 1400 exhibitors from 40 countries.

Baltika Breweries has being delivered its production to Portugal since 2003. The entire range of Baltika products is presented on the market of the country. The beer is especially popular among the Russian-speaking population in Faro, Santarem, Porto, and Portimao. Current European and Latin American partners of the company are Meest Portugal and Russiberica. In 2006 Baltika Breweries exported to Portugal more than 11,000 dl of beer.
