OREANDA-NEWS. On June 07, 2007 Balakovo NPP has been proclaimed the winner of the labor protection contest among the companies of Saratov region and has got an EU certificate, reported the press-centre of Rosenergoatom. 

The contest was held in the framework of the EU project Europe Aid 119764/С/SV/RU. Saratov region, along with Udmurtia, Tatarstan and Rostov region, has been selected as a pilot site for the project.

BNPP has been proclaimed the best in the following activities:

- preventing industrial accidents and professional diseases by improving labor conditions and enhancing labor safety;

- sharing experience and giving access to information about effective labor protection solutions;

- preventing industrial risks;

- helping organizations to ensure the health and safety of their employees.
