OREANDA-NEWS. On June 06, 2007 the certification committee comprised representatives of the Personnel Management Department of Rosenergoatom, specialists of Balakovo, Volgodonsk, Kola, Leningrad and Novovoronezh NPPs, VNIIAES, reported the press-centre of Rosenergoatom. 

The committee monitored the quality of personnel training, the education materials and training aids, the activities of the instructors and found out that they all met Rosenergoatom’s personnel training requirements.  

The management of Kursk NPP give high priority to personnel training and are constantly strengthening the relevant base. In 2005-2007 they repaired and reequipped the building of the Personnel Training Service, drafted lots of training programs. As a result, the quality of personnel training has been significantly raised.

The managers of the plant are constantly developing and introducing new training aids. KNPP has lots of simulators: prototype №4, “Overload,” analytical prototype №1, “Refueling Machine” and “Control Rod Change” and is designing large-scale simulator prototype №2. The Personnel Training Service has highly-qualified instructors.

The certification committee pointed out that the Personnel Training Service of Kursk NPP is an efficient team oriented towards training highly-qualified specialists.

The deputy director general-the director for personnel management and social and administrative programs of Rosenergoatom commended the service during the last telephone conference.
