Russian Railways Put 62 Billion Roubles into Investment Projects
OREANDA-NEWS. Since the beginning of 2007, Russian Railways has put 62 billion roubles into investment projects, 30% more than in the same period last year, reported the press-centre of Russian Railways.
The Company’s investment projects in 2007 are:
Developing transport corridors between Kuzbass and the transport hub at the Sea of Azov and Black Sea, Kuzbass and the Far Eastern transport hub and Kuzbass and the North West, shipping oil to China, the construction and reconstruction of engineering structures, switching to alternating current on the electrified section between Mineralnye Vody and Kislovodsk, and the full reconstruction of the section between Mag, Gatchina and Veimarn and Ivangorod and of the rail access routes to the ports on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland.
