OREANDA-NEWS. The Board of Directors of Sistema JSFC recommended the annual shareholders’ meeting to approve the payment of dividends for 2006 at the rate of 48 roubles per one ordinary share.

The total amount of dividends will make $17,9 million, which corresponds to 2% of the net profit of Sistema JSFC calculated in accordance with US GAAP ($903,3 million).

For 2005, Sistema JSFC paid $9,7 million of dividends at the net profit of $534 million.

The term of dividend payment should not make more than 60 days from the date of approval of a decision on allocation of the net profit for 2006 by the shareholders’ meeting.
