OREANDA-NEWS. June 8, 2007. Since 1 June 2007 Andrey V. Konoval was appointed as the First Deputy Director of FSUE Russian Post.

He was born on the 6th of December 1960 in Leningrad (presently Saint Petersburg).

In 1983 A. Konoval graduated from the Leningrad (presently Saint Petersburg) State University named after A. A. Zhdanov.

Earlier he worked in such state and commercial companies as Saint Petersburg Territorial Administration of State Committee on Antimonopoly Policies and Support for New Economic Structures of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Transport Communications of the RF, SUE "Fuel-and-energy complex of Saint Petersburg". The carrier of A. Konoval was closely connected with OJSC "Baltiyskiy Bank" in which he took the post of Executive Vice President.

Konoval is married and has two daughters.

As the First Director General Deputy of Russian Post he will manage such sectors as upgrаding enterprise’s activities and developing commercial and financial affairs.
