OREANDA-NEWS. SIBUR Holding JSC acting as the GAZPROM JSC agent has set up a new contract for ethane processing in the volume of 139000 tons for the period ending February 1, 2008. 

Following the contract signing, Orenburggazprom LLC has resumed ethane supply to Kazanorgsintez JSC stopped in March 2007 due to the differing points of view on conditions for processing.

In accordance with achieved understanding, GAZPROM Group will continue supplying of no less than 50 per cent of ethane to Kazanorgsintez JSC for producing a finished product - polyethylene, within the processing contract with SIBUR Holding JSC.

The price for ethane, supplying to Kazan enterprise, will be raised up to the cost value of the production of ethane fraction within the contract of purchase with Orenburggazprom LLC.
