OREANDA-NEWS. The team of North-West Telecom won the 1st place in the 4th adventure St. Petersburg Urban Race in the Business class.

Having left behind 19 rival teams in a thrilling and hard competition, Natalya Moshkova, engineer of the Special Programmes Support Department, and Andrey Markin, engineer of the Section of System Support of Data Transmission Network Users of the St. Petersburg branch, ensured the Company's victory. Another two teams of OJSC N.W. Telecom showed unprecedented will to win, a spirit of real camaraderie and worthy results.

Having started from Petrovsky Park with an orientation assignment and maps of the city, our teams overcame several stages: storming a rope ladder on the boom of a crane on Palace Square, diving in the Admiralty fountains and near Sportivnaya Metro Station, orienteering in Letny Garden with GPS equipment, crossing a pond on canoes, and many other obstacles.

An electronic chip had been installed at each point, where the participants were to get registered.

Having become the undisputable leader in its class, the Novigator team outstripped the strong teams of the Lenta retail chain and Chainaya Lozhka chain of cafes and finished just 2 hours and 53 minutes after the start, while the Business class teams had been given 6 hours to pass all the stages.

The organizers awarded honorary diplomas, champagne and double tourist tents as prizes to Natalya Moshkova and Andrey Markin.
