OREANDA-NEWS. June 01, 2007. In 2006, Rosgosstrakh Group of Companies reported premiums of 47,6 billion ($1,8bln/EUR1,4bln), reported the press-centre of  Rosgosstrakh.

Premiums (less mandatory medical insurance) totaled 44,3b roubles ($1,7mln/URE1,3bln), a year-on-year increase of 122%. Growth rates in the main part of the property insurance portfolio (voluntary property insurance, both private and corporate, motor damage insurance, transport and agricultural insurance, financial risks) equalled 137,5%.

Rosgosstrakh's mandatory medical insurance almost doubled from a previous year. In this and other types of insurance, Rosgosstrakh is one of the market leaders.
