OREANDA-NEWS. JSC Gazprom Neft increased the hydrocarbon materials stock on industrial categories by 38,9 million tons of reference fuel in 2006 according to results of the exploration work, the appraisal well drilling as well as according to the additional appraisal of producing fields.

The stock volume increase was received on 57 objects and 17 fields of the company.

The increment of oil reserves in 2006 was 35,5 million tons and exceeded the production level by 2, 8 million tons.

Moreover, the international evaluation of Gazprom Neft’s reserves, which was fulfilled by the independent auditor Miller & Lents showed an increase of company’s proven reserves by 5,3% (621,4 million tons) according to the SPE standard and by 11,4% (514,0 million tons) according to the SEC standard in 2006 in comparison with 2005.
