OREANDA-NEWS. The agreement aims at mutually beneficial cooperation in power engineering and introduces the principles of financing of supplies of power plant engineering facilities by Power Machines to Belarus, reported the press-centre of Power Machines.  

The agreement also envisages the provision of special-purpose loans by Roseximbank against the security of the Belarusian government to the amount of U.S. $2 billion within 5-7 years. The loans will be repaid within 5-10 years depending on exported commodities. It is planned to finance the upgrade of Minsk-based power co-generation facility TETs-5, Brest TETs-2, Bobruisk TETs-2, Vitebsk TETs, which is included in the program of upgrade of production assets of the Belarusian energy system for 2006-2010.
