OREANDA-NEWS. June 1, 2007. IC Allianz ROSNO Life and CB Uniastrum Bank have concluded a cooperation agreement. The life insurance products offered by Allianz ROSNO Life will be sold through the network of branches and representative offices of Uniastrum Bank.

At the first implementation stage of this bancassurance project (offering insurance products via the bank’s sales channels), the employees of Uniastrum Bank will undergo special trainings in the Personnel Training and Development Department of Allianz ROSNO Life. In course of the training, they will learn the company’s product line and will get acquainted with the technologies and specifics of sales in accumulative and risk-based life insurance.

At the next stage, information about ROSNO’s insurance products will be provided to the clients of Uniastrum Bank. The bank clients will be able not only to obtain information about the advantages of the insurance protection offered by Allianz ROSNO Life, but also to purchase any of the company’s products in the Uniastrum Bank offices.

Today, the product line offered by Allianz ROSNO Life includes the programs of accumulative life insurance ("Lifestyle"), pension insurance ("Longevity"), life insurance for the children’s benefit ("Gift to a Child"), fixed-term life insurance ("ABC of Protection"), and accident insurance ("Risk Control").

"This agreement has become one more step towards implementation of the company’s plans with regards to development of new sales channels — in particular, bancassurance. Today, agent network accounts for over 90% of total sales made by Allianz ROSNO Life. Yet, as life insurance gains more popularity, the volume of sales made through banks will grow. Such partnership has a big potential for the banks as well, since large projects implemented jointly with major insurers constitute one of the „bricks“ in the structure of the financial supermarket built by the bank", comments Mr. Nikolai Dimchenko, Director of the Partner and Corporate Sales Department in IC Allianz ROSNO Life.
