OREANDA-NEWS. On May 24, 2007 the 15th International Motor Show SIA started in Kiev on May 23, where Zaporizhia Automobile Building Plant is taking part, , reported the press-centre of  ZAZ.

The Auto Show was opened by the Minister of Transportation and Communication of Ukraine Nikolay Rud'kovskiy and the General Manager of "Avtoexpo" Nina Dyatlova. The purpose of the biggest motor show is a presentation of the Ukrainian car market - from demonstration of the brand new models of the leading global car-makers introduced to Ukraine, as well as new technologies and services, to determination of tendencies of domestic automobile industry development for the nearest future.

At the show stand of Zaporizhia Automobile Building Plant especially for the visitors ZAZ presented new modifications of Lanos model: Lanos-sport, Lanos-M, Lanos-pickup and Lanos with 1,4 l engine.

Lanos-sport designed on the production model base meets all requirements of "Appendix J" to the International Sport Codex applied to sport cars of 'N' class. Such car's advantages as a rigid suspension, crankcase protection and engine adjustment make it possible to take part in a motor rally.

Lanos-M is a reconfiguration of the popular model Lanos T-150. Designers of Zaporizhia Automobile Building Plan stepped away from bio-design techniques, signature of the end 90's of the last century, and advanced it to the modern Chevrolet design keeping the basic proportions of the initial Lanos car.

Lanos-pickup is a consequent extension of the model range of commercial vehicles produced by Zaporizhia Automobile Building Plant. High luggage compartment, low loading height and large door opening provide maximum comfort for handling operations. Combination of roominess, small turning radius and powerful engine makes Lanos-pickup irreplaceable for urban transportation.

Lanos with 1,4 l engine (MeMZ) is a classic family car of 'C' class attractive by such features as reliability, comfort and minimal service expenses. Lanos 1,4 is intended for those who evaluate vehicle's efficiency and usability. Suspension endurance, excellent drivability and high passive safety of the vehicle guarantee its popularity.
