OREANDA-NEWS. May 31, 2007.  The jury of the Golden Salamander Prize has awarded victory in five nominations to the companies of ROSNO Group. OJSC ROSNO received an award "Insurance Service Quality of the Year 2006" and was named the Most Media-Friendly Company of the Year. CJSC Medexpress (St.Petersburg) was named the Medical Insurer of the Year 2006 and was the best in the Insurance Reserves Management nomination. Allianz ROSNO Life was named by the jury the Insurance Company — Discovery of the Year.

The fourth solemn awarding ceremony was held in Zurab Tsereteli’s Gallery of Arts. Golden Salamander is an annual competition, whereby representatives of the professional community, including the insurers themselves, determine the best of the best. The Jury of the Golden Salamander comprises representatives of insurance and reinsurance companies, professional associations of insurers, Russian economists, and mass media. Golden Salamander is a public award supported by the Federal Insurance Supervision Department, the RF Duma’s Credit Institutions and Financial Markets Committee, the RF Ministry of Finance, and the RF Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. It was for the first time in 2006 that ROSNO’s subsidiaries took part in this competition. The nominations awarded to ROSNO fully reflect the company’s major values: focus on the customer, service quality leadership, and highly qualified management team.
