OREANDA-NEWS. May 31, 2007. PJSC KMAruda. 1st Stretino ventilation shaft at the Gubkin mine is under construction at the moment. It will unable a proper ventilation of the whole Stretino iron ore deposit. It will also make it possible to prepare for development of its left part. As a result the miners got a larger scale of work and their working conditions will improve considerably.

 The miners have already constructed 500 m of railway and conducted about 1,5 km of electricity wire and the same length of high voltage wire. The next step is to deliver underground a diesel transporter which will speed up the miners’ work.
