OREANDA-NEWS. On May 20, 2007 Sviaz-Bank celebrated its sixteenth anniversary. On May 20, 1991, the Bank’s Charter was registered. Sviaz-Bank was formed on the initiative of the U.S.S.R. Ministry of Communications to service enterprises of the telecommunications industry, reported the press-centre of  Sviaz-Bank.

Today, Sviaz-Bank is a universal federal financial institution. The Bank is actively working with organizations from all branches of the economy. Sviaz-Bank is carrying out large-scale programs in the sphere of corporative, retail, international, and investment business. The Bank has developed a widespread branch network, which is represented in 36 Russian regions.
