OREANDA-NEWS. May 18, 2007. Sergei Levteev, IBA Group President, attended SAPPHIRE '07, the SAP conference that was held from May 14 to May 16 in Vienna, Austria. Senior executives, business managers, and industry experts gathered at the conference to exchange ideas and explore innovative business and technology solutions, reported the press-centre of  IBA. 
Within the conference, Levteev jointly with Vladimir Novik, Deputy Board Chairperson of Belarusbank, the largest financial institution in the Republic of Belarus, met with Henning Kagermann, CEO and Chairman of the SAP Executive Board; Jovan Marjanovic, SAP CIS General Manager; and Julian Johnson, SAP Senior Vice President EMEA Banking. The parties discussed the SAP project that is currently underway at Belarusbank and spoke about possible cooperation in the banking sector.
The SAPPHIRE '07 featured Kagermann and Leo Apotheker, President CSO and Deputy CEO of SAP, as keynote speakers. The event program included more than 150 educational and informative SAP sessions, and numerous special interest sessions. In addition, a customer pavilion was organized where conference participants could learn from top level managers of 100 companies how to run SAP solutions in different industries.
