OREANDA-NEWS. May 21, 2007. In light of information messages released in mass media about a possible purchase by VTB Bank of an additional stake in the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS), JSC VTB Bank is entitled to make the following statement, reported the press-centre of  VTB:
No additional investment in EADS is scheduled by JSC VTB Bank. According to Vasily Titov, Senior Vice President and member of the Board: "VTB Group regards such investment as trade investment only, with the existing VTB’s stake in EADS to be about 5%".
