OREANDA-NEWS. May 25, 2007. Accepting the Code was a serious step in Company development. It is aimed at achieving IDGC strategic targets as well as implementing Mission and Company Values.

Accepting the Business Ethics Code as a foundation for ethical norms and principles is also meant to help the Company avoid unnecessary risks, enhance long term economic growth, strengthen its position on the Russian and International markets and create positive expectations among corporate members.

The IDGC Business Ethics incorporates the principles and norms, Company ethics and style for employees and counter-agents, personnel dress code. 

The main principles of IDGC Business Ethics are: adhering to the requirements of the current legislation, conscientions, reasonable and fair approach; honour and decency in business relationships, avoiding any disrespectful methods in business; respect of property right; respectful relationships between employees, to all customers, business partners of the Company; constant improvement of professional skills, competence and qualification.

The principles of information coverage are also presented in the Code, as JSC “IDGC of Centre and North Caucasus” is striving to improve the level of informational openness, which shall increase the trust between the IDGC, creditors, potential investors and shareholders.

Social orientation is one of the important items of the Code. “The IDGC management acknowledges the responsibility for creating appropriate conditions for work and life of the employees and their families, - comments Evgeny Ilyin, the Head of HR Department. – The Company in accordance with the Mission is aiming to increase salaries, provide further incentives for motivating, improving employee professional competence, corporate social security, insurance and health protection.”
