OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2007. JSC Gazprom Neft’ oil production was 10 895 thousand tons in January – April 2007 that is by 2,9% more than it was in the same period of the last year (10 millions 586 thousand tons).

Within four months 2007 170 wells were brought in. From new wells additional 646,6 thousand tons of oil were produced that is by 63,2% more than it was in the same period in 2006.
176 production wells were taken out from drilling that is by 50,4% more than it was in January - April 2006 (117 production wells).

After hydraulic fracture 65 wells were brought in. For four months total oil production from these wells was 101,2 thousand tons.

In January- April 2007 JSC Gazprom Neft fulfilled interventions on 372 wells. After these interventions additional 818 thousand tons of oil were produced that is 133,5% from expected in the business-plan.

Moreover, within four months JSC Gazprom Neft carried on 2D seismic exploration operations in an amount of 1732 linear meters, 3D seismic exploration operations in an amount of 997 kmІ. A prospecting and exploratory drilling was fulfilled in an amount of 15 849 meters; a construction of 5 wells was finished, 3 new accumulations were found in Karasevo-Tanlovsk and Middle Itunsk license areas.
