Leningrad NPP is Operating at a Total Capacity of 3,200 MW According to the Schedule

The radiation background at the plant and in Sosnovy Bor is within norm, which proves that the plant is operating safely and efficiently.
The radiation background at the plant is 0.15 mSv/h (15 mR/h), in Sosnovy Bor – 0.16 mSv/h (16 mR/h).
The maximum radiation in the 30 km zone is 0.16 mSv/h, which is normal for the given area.

LNPP has four RBMK-1000 reactors. Its total capacity is 4000 MW. The reduction of the capacity to 3200 MW is due to low demand in the energy system and capacity plan.
