OREANDA-NEWS. In light of information messages released in mass media about a possible purchase by VTB Bank of an additional stake in the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS), JSC VTB Bank is entitled to make the following statement:

No additional investment in EADS is scheduled by JSC VTB Bank. According to Vasily Titov, Senior Vice President and member of the Board: "VTB Group regards such investment as trade investment only, with the existing VTB’s stake in EADS to be about 5%".
