Energy Companies Named Customers as Most Important Strategic Area
OREANDA-NEWS. During in Rostov-on-Don a Seminar on Cooperation of Energy Companies with Customers and Regional HQ for Liaising with Customers was held in the Congress-Hall of “Vertol-Expo”.
Top-managers and specialists of RAO UES of Russia, JSC IDGC of Centre and North Caucasus, the leading energy companies of the Central and Southern parts of Russia took part in the seminar.
Among the topics for discussion were those concerning further improvement of relations between energy companies and customers, including customer-oriented strategy development in RNCs operating under JSC IDGC of Centre and North Caucasus.
The Head of Nonfinancial risks and Social Reporting Directorate of JSC RAO UES of Russia, Marina Liborakina, summarised the work results of the Regional Customer Service Centres operating with subsidiaries and dependent companies of RAO UES of Russia. She stressed the fact that the energy companies of the Holding Company regarded Customer-Focus as one of the most important strategic areas.
Among other things, customer service standardization, the establishment of Customer Service Centres (CSC), as well as the development of partnership relations between different market entities were mentioned.
As Sergey Schumacher, the Technical Director of JSC IDGC of Centre and North Caucasus, said, a customer may appeal with any problem concerning power supply, or receive a consultation on new connections, compile the technical specifications or sign a contract for a new connection in the Customer Service Centres which are being opened in every RNC area functioning under IDGC-1.
The participants of the Seminar agreed on a unified approach, terms and conditions as well as standards for energy companies in their dealings with customers. This will lead to customer service improvement; minimize the period of contract servicing and enhance the level of energy company and customer cooperation.
