Kaspersky Lab Names Industry Veteran John Eddy To Lead North American Sales
OREANDA-NEWS. On May 14, 2007 Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions, announced that the company has appointed John Eddy as Vice President of Sales for its North American operation. In this position, Mr. Eddy brings extensive experience in sales and business development to manage the expansion of Kaspersky’s business security products throughout North America, reported the press-centre of Kaspersky Lab.
Mr. Eddy joins Kaspersky Lab from McAfee, where during his eight-year tenure he served in a variety of leadership positions including director of sales and business development and director of North American Partners. He was responsible for achieving aggressive revenue and growth targets as well as maintaining global responsibility for the development and execution of the Site Advisor technology sales program. Prior to joining McAfee, Mr. Eddy led a regional sales team at another IT security provider, Dr. Solomon’s Software. Mr. Eddy holds a Bachelors of Art degree from Boston College.
