By the End of this year Rosenergoatom Concern FSUE will Become a JSC: Sergey Kiriyenko
OREANDA-NEWS. May 18, 2007. The Concern will be incorporated into vertically integrated structure, Atomenergoprom OJSC. The relevant decree was signed by the President in late Apr.
As was reported earlier, the decree stipulates the formation of a vertically integrated structure comprising civil nuclear companies of all types of ownership. The newly formed structure will cover heat and electricity production, uranium extraction and enrichment, nuclear fuel production, NPP design and construction. The document contains a list of civil nuclear companies, a list of nuclear materials, equipment and storage facilities of no military purpose that can be given to legal entities, a list of over 30 JSCs whose shares will be transferred into the authorized capital of Atomenergoprom, a list of 55 federal state unitary enterprises (FSUE) that should be corporized and whose shares should be transferred into the authorized capital of Atomeneroprom and a list of legal entities that can carry out transactions with nuclear materials and equipment.
