On May 11, 2007 OAO TMK announced that it is engaging in preliminary discussions with regard to a potential transaction with Ukrainian pipe and steel products company, Interpipe, reported the press-centre of OAO TMK. These talks are at an early and exploratory stage and there can be no certainty that they will lead to a transaction or the form it will take. OAO TMK has no further comment at this time.
