OREANDA-NEWS. The first (elimination) round of the International Contest of Children’s Drawings “Peaceful Atom is the Future of the World,” organized by TVEL and Energoprom (Ukraine), is over. Over 80 children from Novosibirsk, Glazov (Udmurtia), Elektrostal (Moscow region), Krasnokamensk (Chita region) and the Ukrainian towns of Kuznetsovsk, Neteshin, Slavutich, Energodar and South-Ukrainskaya have been selected for the final round to be held in Moscow.

The awarding of the winners will take place at State Tretyakovskaya Gallery on May 18 with the participation of managers of Rosatom, TVEL and Energoatom and officials of the Energy Ministry of Ukraine.

After the awarding ceremony the children will be taken on excursions around Moscow and Kyiv.
