OREANDA-NEWS. Performance of the second gas processing stage (GTF-2) of Belozyorny GPP suspended by the breakdown of the first production line on May 5, is fully restored. The intake of associated gas with 7 million m3 capacity per day has started.
 
GTF-1 is out of operation as the result of the equipment damage of the gas separation unit. Today the commission of directorate of the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Atomic Inspection in Khanty-MansijskAutonomousDistrict (Rostekhnadzor) started the investigation to reveal the accident causes and evaluate material loss, as well as to define the repair and recovery period.
 
Gas distribution is handled in full to vital infrastructure of Nizhnevartovsk City, Nizhnevartovsk region and  Nizhnevartovsk State District Power plant. No damage to environment and locals’ health was revealed after the accident.
