OREANDA-NEWS. Uralsvyazinform (RTS: URSI/URSIP, ADR: UVYZY/ UVYZYP), the leading carrier of fixed-line and mobile services in the Urals region, Russia reports unaudited unconsolidated operational and financial results for 1Q 2007 under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS).

Proceeds of the company for the period under review has made 9 205,8 million roubles, or 20,6% more than parameter for the same period of the last year.

Expenses of the company increased by 20,5% and made 6 632,9 million roubles.

The operation profit increased by 21% up to 2 572,9 million roubles, while profit before taxation increased by 34,3% up to 1 684,5 million roubles.

The net profit of the company for the first quarter made 1 200,8 million roubles (+18,1%).
