First Solemn Inaugural Ceremony for Newly Hired Employees of JSC NC KazMunayGas
OREANDA-NEWS. May 15, 2007. As part of the Program of Personnel Adaptation in Employment to JSC NC “KazMunayGas”, 25 new employees have received special training in history of development of the Company and the oil-and-gas industry as a whole.
The adaptation course presupposes training of new employees by the Company's qualified specialists, the so-called “internal trainers”. By way of the recently completed training course , the company’s qualified specialists who took a special "training of the trainers" course and have theoretical and practical training skills informed the new employees about the Company’s strategic goals, familiarized them with the internal policies and procedures and helped them with mastering information and other technologies used in the Company. Immediate supervisors paid special attention to goal-setting for the activities of the new employees and identified their individual development plans for the year. Information on the new employees has been placed on the intra-Company’s site.
At the inaugural ceremony, the new employees met the management and the team of the Company. They spoke about themselves and had a chance to get the information "from the horse’s mouth” by asking KMG’s President Uzakbay Karabalin questions that were of interest to them. When congratulating “the novices”, KMG’s President wished them success and professional development.
In the course of the event, Director of the Human Resources Department of NC “KazMunayGas” Raushan Raiskhanova spoke about the objectives of the internal trainers and advisors on personnel who give the intracorporate training and participate in selection of external candidates. At the end of the ceremony, the new specialists were given presents with the Company’s logo and photographed together with the Company’s President to remember the first months of work in NC “KazMunayGas”.
Positively, such events strengthen the corporate culture, increase transparency of the internal procedures and personnel’s motivation. KMG intends to hold such events on a regular basis.
