Vadim Yarotsky Has Been Appointed as Marketing Director of MERLION
OREANDA-NEWS. May 10, 2007. Vadim Yarotky has again assumed the responsibilities of Marketing Director of MERLION, effective immediately. He was responsible for the company’s marketing activities from January 2002 to June 2006, reported the press-centre of MERLION.
Mr. Yarotsky replaces Aleksey Zhuravlev who served as Marketing Director for MERLION from July1, 2006 to May 1, 2007 and then left the company.
As Marketing Director of MERLION, Vadim Yarotsky has overall responsibility for the marketing communications of the company and its projects, including POSITRONICA federal computer retailer. He is also responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities.
According to Vadim Yarotsky, the company will have reviewed the marketing strategy for the current year and developed its focus for the next season by the end of June. MERLION will certainly continue focusing on cost-efficiency and customer orientation in its development.
The position of Deputy Managing Director has been eliminated. The responsibility for the company’s strategic development was delegated to the Board of Directors.
Vadim Rostislavovich Yarotsky was born on January 13, 1973.
He graduated in radio engineering and cybernetics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and holds a MBA degree from the Academy of National Economy in partnership with IPO UFSIA.
Mr. Yarotsky has been in the IT business since 1993. From 1993 to1996, he was Sales Manager in Sunrise. From 1996 to1998, he served as Purchase Manager for Citilink. In 1998, he was promoted to Commercial Director and later Sales Director for Citilink group, after the merger of Citilink group and Lizard in 2000 – Sales Director for LC-group. From 2001 to 2002, Mr. Yarotsky held the position of IT Director for LC-group. He was appointed as Marketing Director, LC-group, later renamed MERLION in 2002. On January 1st, 2005, Vadim Yarotsky was named Deputy CEO responsible for strategic planning and marketing. He was most recently in charge of MERLION’s strategic development since July 1, 2006.
