Dementiev supervises a key business direction, the so called Financial bridge, which combines such businesses as investment banking, asset management, private equity, international business and corporate banking, reported the press-centre of  URALSIB.
Since 2004, when he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Board, OJSC BANK URALSIB, Alexander V.Dementiev was responsible for International business, interaction with foreign financial institutions, trade finance, fund raising, and Eurobonds. Earlier, Mr. Dementiev held a number of senior positions during his more than 10 years of employment at URALSIB BANK (before 2001 OJSC "BashKreditBank").
Born in 1954 in Novosibirsk, Russia, Alexander V. Dementiev received a Bachelor's Degree in philology from Bashkirsky State University in Ufa in 1977, and a Ph.D. degree from Moscow Institute of Foreign Languages in 1986.
