GAZEKS Increases Number of Consumers in Sverdlovsk Region
OREANDA-NEWS. Between January and April 2007, the companies of the Yekaterinburg branch of the GAZEKS holding company signed agreements for the commercial construction of gas supply facilities worth 50 million roubles, which by 20 million roubles exceeds last year's figures.
The company managed to secure nearly a 50 per cent increase in the volume of commercial construction through attracting a number of new major customers whose aggregate requested gas consumption volumes amounted to 50,000 cu m an hour. Among them are enterprises in Degtyarsk, Revda, and Aramil. Besides, the number of contracts grew for establishing gas supply to the Gornyi Shchit, Solnechnaya Poliana and Kadnikovo cottage developments and a number of others.
Simultaneously, the company improved the scheme for providing services to households and legal entities from among small and medium businesses. Since February this year these consumer categories have been served based on the "one-stop shop" principle where all procedures related to the establishment of gas supply can be carried out in one place.
The "one-stop shop" principle in the operation of GAZEKS companies in the Sverdlovsk Region means that a consumer only needs to apply to a company office in any of the 52 municipalities in the region to discuss all questions related to the establishment of gas supply. A manager will accept the application and services will be rendered as follows: Gazmontazh, the construction subdivision of GAZEKS, will perform all works for designing and building gas supply facilities; Urals Gas Networks will be engaged in issuing requirements specifications, collecting necessary documents for connection to gas supply, and servicing newly-built gas pipelines; and GAZEKS will sign contracts for natural gas supply and collect payment for services.
To ensure the highest quality and shortest response time in consumer services, the company has developed and implemented a Regulation for Issuing Requirements Specifications for Establishing Gas Supply to Facilities which is based on the Russian Government's Directive No 83 of 13 February, 2006.
GAZEKS specialists are confident that work based on the "one-stop shop" principle will make it possible to achieve even bigger growth in commercial construction volumes and attract new consumers by the end of the year.
