OREANDA-NEWS. The Grid Development Department was opened on May 10, 2007 in JSC “IDGC of Center and North Caucasus” central office.

The main functions are: priority grid development to provide indiscriminated access for new connections, and the development and implementation of growth schemes, implementation of new equipment and new technologies as well as liaising with research institutions to solve local power network problems.

Dmitry Rybnikov was appointed Head of the Grid Development Department. Prior to this post he was Head of the Technical Inspection Auditing Department.
