OREANDA-NEWS. May 11, 2007. Commercial Sea Port of Klaipeda handled the major volume of containers.  69.4 thousand TEU (+32.8% year-on-year) was handled at the port of Klaipeda in January-March 2007. Port of Riga handled 47.8 thousand TEU (+7% year-on-year). That is the second rate among the Baltic ports. 39.7 thousand TEU was handled in the port of Tallinn (+11.4% year-on-year). Port of Ventspills handled 3.8 thousand TEU.
