OREANDA-NEWS. May 11, 2007. 683 well remedial works were performed during the month of April while 3,147 well remedial works were performed from the beginning of the year. Shortages in crude oil production due to the well remedial works and subsurface equipment repairs amounted to 70.3 thousand tons accounting for 10.5% reduction versus the similar period in 2006 (78.5 thousand tons).

851 wells were worked over  (203 wells in April), including production casing pressure sealing at 118 wells,   cutting off individual strata and transfer to the other horizons at 160 wells, transfer of the wells into different categories and their adaptation for injection - 70 wells,  servicing wells with mechanical failures and cleaning the production casing and bottom hole at 49 wells, physical abandonment and re-abandonment at 28 wells.

193 wells were worked over with application of coil tubing (38 wells in April) with 40 wells worked over through the annulus.

Formation hydrofracking operations were performed at 32 wells (6 wells in April). The cumulative incremental crude oil production volume amounted to 1,394 thousand tons of crude oil. Additionally one acid hydrofracking operation was performed for the outside company (OAO RITEK).
 
Works on oil recovery enhancement were performed at 712 wells (156 wells in April) including chemical treatment methods applied at 451 wells (95 wells in April). The additional crude oil production through application of oil recovery enhancement methods amounted to 1 million 662 thousand tons (109% to the plan) with chemical methods accounting for production of crude oil in the amount of 785 thousand tons (47% of the total incremental crude oil production volume through application of  oil recovery enhancement methods).

Neftechimservice Company produced 9 thousand 638 tons of chemical products for the amount of 182 million rubles.

Radial drilling projects were implemented at 16 wells by OOO RV-Plast Company including 12 wells for OAO TATNEFT (10 wells for NGDU Nurlatneft, 2 wells for NGDU Elkhovneft) and 4 wells for outside companies (3 wells for ZAO TatRITEK, 1 well for OAO Udmurtneft). The cumulative incremental crude oil production volume through application of radial drilling amounted to 113 thousand 746 tons.
