President Gurbanguly Berdymuhammedov Received Representatives from Leading European Companies
OREANDA-NEWS. On May 03, 2007 the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhammedov received the Director General of the Enex Process Engineering S.A. Company Kun Minne and the partners of this Belgian company – the Director of the Industrial Group of the Poll Corporation in Europe Thomas Ballant, Vice-President of the Ericsson Lars Olaf Lindgren, Vice-President of the Dresser Rand Company Ivo Leone and Regional Director of the Schneider Electric for Central Asia Pierre Dirrige, reported the Presidential website http://www.turkmenistan.gov.tm.
Greeting his guests the head of state noted with satisfaction the results of the activities of the Enex Company in the Turkmen market where it was present for several years.
The company has realised several projects for construction and reconstruction of the fuel complex at such large natural gas deposits as Dovletabat, Korpeje, Deryalyk and others. The company has also organised training the Turkmen specialists who apply their knowledge in practice. Telling during the meeting about an intention of Enex to expand its partnership with Turkmenistan, its Director General put forward such concrete proposals in this direction as opening of a large service and training centre in the country and gratis auditing of objects of the fuel complex.
In their turn, the partners of Enex informed the President of Turkmenistan of the activities of their companies and told about their readiness to participate in realisation of a number of new projects. The head of the Poll Corporation Thomas Ballant said that his company had advanced technologies in the sphere of natural gas filtration. The Vice-President of Dresser Rand Ivo Leone expressed his company’s wish to deliver pipes for laying the future gas pipeline along the Caspian Sea coast. The Regional Director of Schneider Electric Pierre Dirrige told about the latest elaborations of oil and gas as well as other equipment that was in popular demand among the old partners of Turkmenistan, the companies Bouygues and GAP Insaat.
The Vice-President of Ericsson Lars Olaf Lindgren called providing Turkmenistan with the most advanced technologies in the sphere of communications including those allowing to ensure high-speed access to the Internet among possible projects of co-operation. Listening to the proposals stated by the foreign partners with great satisfaction, Gurbanguly Berdymuhammedov noted the prospective character of many of them for introduction them in Turkmenistan. The corresponding officials were given concrete instructions for conducting the negotiations on possibilities and terms of concluding the contracts.
