OREANDA-NEWS. May 7, 2007.  18 populated localities, generally distant ones, which are in the area of responsibility of Talitsk power networks, were left without electricity because of rough weather which was in the beginning of May. On the 2nd of May practically all faults were cleared. The most challenging was the work in Jadryshnikova, Ushkova villages and in Churaki, Tugulymsk urban district (a rush of wind struck down several pillow blocks in Verkhovino). Power supply of villages Jadryshnikova and Ushkova was restored by 5 pm on 3rd of May.

Repair work in Churaki village was complicated because there was no way to come near to the accident site and caterpillar industrial tractor was under repairs the same time. On the 4th of May the tractor was repaired and power engineers started to clear the fault. Power supply for all consumers living in the area of responsibility of Talitsk power networks was restored toward the evening the same day.
