OREANDA-NEWS. On April 30, 2007 they tested a 3,2MW diesel generator so as to ensure stable electricity supply of the facility, reported the press-centre of Atomstroyexport. The work is being carried out in full compliance with the contract.

Under a contract signed in Jan 1995, Atomstroyexport is completing the construction of Bushehr NPP started by Kraftwerk Union A.G. (Siemens/KWU). In fact, the company started the project in 1998. Bushehr NPP is a unique example of integration of Russian technologies with western solutions. At Bushehr Atomstroyexport is forced to fit Russian technologies into facilities built according to German design and to use almost 12,000 tons of German equipment.
