OREANDA-NEWS. May 4, 2007. The exhibition is part of the 2nd International Nuclear Forum and the Exhibition “Russian Industrialist 2007.”

Considering the growing interest in nuclear energy, the exhibition is a good opportunity for popularizing the achievements of the nuclear power industry and strengthening business ties among the nuclear power communities of Russia, the CIS and foreign countries.

The exhibition is conducted un der the auspices of Russian ministries and territorial administrations, foreign companies, such as Rosatom, St.Petersburg Administration, IAEA. This proves the high status of the event.

In 2007 the exhibition will display the latest achievements of the nuclear power industry as well as devices, auxiliary materials, individual and collective protection means. Special attention will be given to safe decommissioning of reactors and transportation and treatment of nuclear waste.

The key participants in the exhibition are Rosenergoatom, TVEL, Atomstroyexport, Atomtech, Atomenergoproject, Atomenergoremont, Mayak, Isotope as well as research and development institutes, plants producing equipment for NPPs, leading companies of the CIS, Europe, America and Asia; economic and financial institutions, investment and insurance companies.

The exhibition has a big role in the development of the Russian nuclear power industry and helps to solve such urgent problems of the sector as improvement of investment climate, development of infrastructure, enhancement of competitiveness.
