OREANDA-NEWS. May 02, 2007. Sevmash has been awarded silver statuette “St.George” on forum “Hi techs of XXI century”, which has recently finished in Moscow, reported the press-centre of Sevmash.
Forum took place for the 8th time and each year the number of competitive works is being increased. This year 1500 projects were presented and only 29 from them received prizes, so Sevmash award is more significant. Shipbuilders were highly evaluated “For scientific-technological development and implementation of technology project – manufacturing large high quality marine structures afloat using modern welding procedures”.
Certificate was signed by mayor of Moscow Y.M. Luzhkov. Severodvinsk enterprise takes part in this exhibition for the second time; in 2006 Sevmash delegation brought bronze “St.George” from capital.
