OREANDA-NEWS. The Gala performance of the Xth Festival of Children's Creativity named "The Country of Warbling Nightingale" dedicated to the production of the third billionth ton of crude oil in Tatarstan and to the 10th anniversary of the Rukhiyat Spiritual Revival Foundation of OAO TATNEFT was held at the stage of the Tatar Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after Musa Jalil on April 24.

The young talents from 16 cities, towns and settlements of the oil producing south-eastern part of the Republic as well as the winners of the previous festivals: students of Kazan State Conservatory, University of Culture and Arts and other musical educational institutions participated in the Gala performance.

The welcoming speeches presented by Zilya Valeeva, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Minister of Culture, and by Rais Shaykhelislamov, the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, emphasized the huge contribution of the Rukhiyat Foundation into the development of culture, literature, arts, education, stirring up the spiritual revival and the cultural life of the oil producing region. The foundation published 107 book titles during its ten years activity. The greater part of the published books was gratuitously handed over to the libraries of the Republic.

The Deputy General Director of OAO TATNEFT and the Chairman of the Rukhiyat Spiritual Revival Foundation Rustam Mukhamadeev and OAO TATNEFT Trade Union Chairman Gumar Yarullin expressed tremendous gratitude to all organizers of the festival, schoolmasters, jury chairmen and presented the Foundation's Letters of Gratitude, Certificates of Merit of the Trade Union and valuable gifts to them.
