OREANDA-NEWS. Mariupol was visited for the first time by official delegation of China led by the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Peoples Republic of China in Ukraine Gao Yu Shen. The purpose of arrival is signing the historical contract between Chinese corporation "MinMetals" - the largest metal maker China and Open Society "ММК it. Ilyich" on delivery and installation of installation on inflation dust-coal fuel in blast furnaces. It is the first contract of a similar sort between the metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine and China.

Start of the new equipment will allow to provide economy of coke in domain manufacture, and also to begin gradual reduction of consumption of gas down to full refusal of its use.

The Mariupol metallurgical combine of a name of Ilyich on each ton of the made pig-iron spends 65 cubic metre of natural gas for today. At the same time, most costs a component domain charge is coke which consumption in April has made 524 kg on 1 ton of pig-iron.
